Corral Creek Overview. Corral Creek is a small dispersed camping area located next to the Wild & Scenic Kern River about 9 miles north of Kernville. There are about 12-14 camping areas for groups, tents, trailers and RVs. Some sites are 'walk to'. The campground is open year-round and is free Corral Creek Road (FS-137) was great.
